Window to India - Rosneft Stand
The Window to India installation at Rosneft's stand is a large LED screen featuring a sacred elephant, a traditional symbol of Indian culture, brought to life with neural networks. The installation conveys the idea of cultural diplomacy and friendship between the peoples of Russia and India, while also recalling Nikas Safronov's successful exhibitions in the country: from December 7 to 21, 2025, at the Lalit Kala Akademi National Academy of Art in New Delhi, and from December 30, 2025 to January 16, 2026, at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Mumbai. These two events became the most visited in India in the last 60 years, attracting more than 700,000 people. Yet the Indian exhibitions are only the first step in Nikas Safronov's large-scale international project of cultural diplomacy, with new countries and even more ambitious expositions ahead.
